A big thank you to everyone at the LAM for doing this and allowing me to share it. Check out their website in the link above if you would like to know more about their event and I hope you all enjoy the recording 🙂
So, I guess I really need to play “catch up” before I start seriously writing posts again.
I will start by giving everyone the results of the 15000ft freefall parachute jump that I did for charity. If you have not already seen it on my Youtube channel, here is the video footage taken by the awesome people over at Skydivebuzz.
Let me apologise for having such a screwed up face during the interview parts of the video. It was a combination of too much light and the holding back of a lot of emotions.
A huge thank you to all the groovy people out there who helped me raise a whopping £772 for HospisCare for cancer patients and a huge thank you to everyone over at Skydivebuzz for everything you did that day. You are all very awesome people.
As many people may be aware from one of my previous posts, my father was suffering from terminal cancer. Sadly, he recently passed away.
It has taken me a while to be able to stomach writing about it here on my blog.
My father was a paratrooper in his youth and when he retired he continued to jump for recreation. He was still skydiving at 71 years old.
When he found out he had terminal cancer, one of his goals was to attain some sort of skydiving license at 300 jumps. He trudged through the pain and sickness with an insanely positive outlook in an attempt to achieve his goal. So much so, that he attracted the attention of local papers, a radio station and was even videoed as an encouraging example for patients suffering from cancer.
He passed away 4 jumps short of reaching his goal.
To this end, myself and 3 other members of my family have agreed to do the last jumps for him.
It should come as no surprise that I have chosen Hospis Care for cancer patients as my chosen charity to collect for. They were the people who looked after my father in his final weeks and I saw first hand the marvellous work they do.
You can sponsor me for this jump at any of the events at which I am showing face over the next month. The sponsor forms and details are brought with me to every event Kabunza or I attend.
I have already been asked if the jump will be filmed and I plan to pay the extra to make it happen. Hopefully the jump I do for my Dad will be up on Youtube not long after completion.
Let me thank everyone in advance who plan on donating. It is an incredibly worthy charity.
The date for the jump is the 19th August 2015. Weather permitting.
With the release of movies such as “50 Shades of Grey” and “The Secretary”, I have noticed a large number of newcomers to the BDSM scene over the past few years, many of whom are still finding their feet and exploring this marvellous world. The use of a flogger is usually among the first steps after discovering this alternative lifestyle and with “The Art of Flogging” DVD project, our aim is to bring the basics of practice and safety to these newcomers, and to enthusiasts all over the world, while still being able to teach advanced techniques to those who are experienced in the practice of impact play. A complete comprehensive resource for any flogging enthusiast, our DVD will be packed with tutorials and instructional videos. Here are some of the things we plan on including:
Beginner instructionals.
Practice techniques.
Safety tutorials.
Warm up techniques.
Sensation play with floggers.
Rest techniques.
Flogger maintenance.
Advanced techniques: Carouselling, Ricochet Flogging, 4-point and 6-point Florentine flogging.
After-care advice.
And much more!
My Background
I am the owner of Kabunza Craftwerks and have been a lifestyle practitioner of BDSM for many years. I have been in the media as a mentor in various BDSM arts and I frequent the majority of the south of England teaching workshops and demonstrations as well as doing performances of these arts. While I practice many forms of BDSM, I am mostly known for my expertise in impact play.
Where will the money go?
With having passionate people working on this project, at £1500 we are looking at the bare minimum of funding. Of course, the more we raise, the better a DVD we will be able to produce. But with that £1500 backing we will be able to pay for:
Video recording equipment, lighting etc.
Editing and sound.
The required software and personnel.
Studio space rental.
Our first production of DVDs.
Rewards!
We are offering numerous rewards for those who give us their hearty support! From a copy of the DVD when it is complete to a huge set of custom designed BDSM impact toys, we will be working our socks off to bring you some amazing goodies. Plus, all of our rewards will include free postage worldwide! One of the special things which we are releasing for this Kickstarter is the limited editionKabunza Minipoi “Black Hawk” replica flogger. These floggers will not be available to purchase and will be made purely for those people who have selected to donate £50 or more.

Why Kickstarter?
People have been asking me to make tutorial videos for quite some time. I decided that if I were to do something along these lines, then I should approach doing it as I would approach building a set of Kabunza floggers; I should aim for making something ‘exceptional’, and making decent tutorials is no cheap endeavour. They require time, space and professionals, which in the end not only greatly increases the quality of the finished product but also requires a significant chunk of money. A friend of mine suggested Kickstarter as a means to achieve this goal and after some research and thought on the matter, here we are!
How can you help?
The first answer is: make a pledge! We urge you to get involved. Even a small pledge helps to get us that much closer to our goal! Secondly, let everyone know about our Kickstarter project and the DVD! In order to achieve our goal we really need to reach out into our communities and spheres of influence to get the word out there. You can post on Fetlife, Twitter, Facebook, and even email this Kickstarter link to those you think would like to know about the project. Every person you tell about “The Art of Flogging” is a huge help.
Thank you for your support!

Just to bring everyone up to date on “The art of Flogging” DVD Kickstarter project:
The company chosen to work with us on filming the project is: The Kink Domane.
They will be able to supply the equipment, manpower, filming, editing and sound for the DVD.
We have already finished the promotional video for the project and we are hoping to have it live within a week.
We will have only 30 days to reach our target goal and all information about what we hope to include will be posted as soon as the project goes live. I will be supplying a list of the things which the project funds will need to be spent on in order to complete the project, so everyone will know where the money is going. Obviously the more funding we make, the more we will be able to do and the better we will be able to do it.
All advertising and backing of this project will be greatly appreciated and there will be some nice rewards given away to people who lend monetary support to the project.
There will also be options for kink orientated businesses to be plugged in the DVD by sponsoring the project.
I have started a group on Fetlife to spread the word and keep people who do not follow my blog up to date. You can join this group at: https://fetlife.com/groups/119378
This should end up being something pretty awesome.
A couple of years ago, I helped out a friend with a project by voice acting the lead character in a comic book style introduction story which was aimed at promoting his new game.
Recently I have been allowed access to use the promotional footage as an example of my voice acting work. I thought it might be a fun thing to add to my blog (as well as fill in a inordinately long time gap between posts as I have been too busy to sit down and write anything significant lately).
Comments are welcome. You can check out other gaming stuff by Mongoose Publishing at www.mongoosepublishing.com.
These photos are a sneak peek at some of the images that were taken during the course of the photo shoot that have not been published the magazine. So, all of you should still go to their website and grab a copy!
I told you all that there would eventually be photos of me doing Shibari on my blog!
Late last year (2013), a friend of mine was advertising for models for a Vintage/Retro magazine called ‘Tease and Cake‘ which centers around the 1950’s Pin-Up genre. I sent her a message, which was originally meant as a bit of a jest because I have never really considered myself to be Pin-Up material (despite desperately wanting to be), and essentially asked her if she thought I could be the next Betty Page.
I really never expected to find out that she had been discussing with her team the idea of shooting something along the lines of “A day in the life of a Mistress” with me.
The setting would be around the 1940’s, a retro style, to include a violet wand, rope bondage and to have a “Betty Page” BDSM feel to it. As it turned out (because, seriously, I just can’t seem to pull off the Pin-Up ‘look’ and I have developed an amazing respect for those who can, it is not an easy thing to do), it ended up being an interview and shoot centered around a genuine curiosity on the history of BDSM and how it has changed in the past 60 years along with photos to compliment the article. I also managed to rope-in (literally) another friend of mine (the lovely Emma Yada-yada) who playfully agreed to be my rope model for the day.
The article is titled “Fetish then and now” and here is a few example photos from the shoot, which appear in issue 7 of the magazine and is now available for purchase on the Tease and Cake website. It is an awesome magazine and packed full of retro goodness, but I do not want to give too much away. So, if you want to see and read more (including photos and articles on a host of other glamorous retro lovelies) you will need to head to the links provided and buy a copy!
A backwards prayer and a single leg suspension where my free leg is used to manipulate momentum and gravity to spin myself rather fast. Not an easy bout of rope to take (especially not for me).
But we managed it and a few photos were taken in the process.
